My latest video couldn’t be more different in content and tone than the previous one. I was in Yokohama for CP+, Japan’s annual camera and imaging show, for work. I went there to capture both stills and video, as well as to write about it.
While the official work video has been edited and uploaded by my colleagues, I did this personal edit for myself – hence the ‘remix’ edition. Hope you enjoy it!
P.S. Why the name hayabusa, which is Japanese for ‘peregrine falcon’? No reason really, it was the name of a movie I kept seeing promoted there and the name stuck.

Hayabusa is also the name of the male ninja in Dead or Alive, who if I’m not wrong, is also the ninja in Ninja Gaiden. At no point in either of these games does he sprout feathers.
BTW it takes a lot of muscle discipline to constantly smile like that!
I know, I really have to hand it to these girls. I wrote my thoughts about it here:

You can visibly see their energy flag as the day goes on, they’re the friendliest and perkiest in the mornings during the quiet two-hour press session, and they look really tired by the end of the day after the show opens to the public. They’re constantly swamped by photographers who want to take their pictures but they always respond gamely with a smile. My hat goes off to them.
