Great quote, and timely. But my feeling has always been that Fear — or the willingness to give in to fear — is the greatest destroyer. When you look at anger, most anger actually stems from some fear that the person has.
I just had an experience where a person got violently angry at me. But his anger was merely an expression of the fear that I didn’t like him. His suspicion was untrue, but just the fear of it was enough to incite him to violence.
Some day, I hope to be able to tell him that his anger doesn’t hurt me, but it kills him inside.
